Our staff have been celebrated at a special awards ceremony for going above and beyond to care for patients and colleagues in east London.

Over 35 areas of outstanding practice at Barts Health were recognised by the CQC in its latest report. One was the way in which our speech and language therapists support trans patients at Whipps Cross. 

Congratulations to the Royal London Dental Hospital and Queen Mary University London for receiving three outstanding ratings and one good rating in the latest CQC report. The CQC has also highlighted 7 areas of outstanding practice at the dental hospital.

Newham’s state-of-the-art Rainbow Centre for children and young people turns two this week. 

The Forest Assessment Unit helps frail patients over the age of 65 to have a speedy recovery and avoid the kind of lengthy stay in hospital that can contribute to a longer-term deterioration in health.
