We provide inclusive care

Across our maternity services

We acknowledge the use of language such as mother, women, and breastfeeding are not terms that accurately represent all pregnant people.

While care has been taken to use inclusive language where possible, terms such as mother or woman should be taken to include those who are pregnant or have given birth but do not identify as a woman.

  • RLH maternity feedback

We will never forget the lovely sonographer lady who told us we were expecting a girl. Our midwives were professional and supportive and I cannot thank the staff enough for a healthy baby. You are stars!
