Whipps Cross Hospital executive board

Clare has served as the Divisional Director of Core Services at Whipps Cross Hospital since March 2022, overseeing Imaging, Pharmacy, Therapies, and Outpatient departments. In addition to her leadership role, she holds the position of Nursing Informatics Officer and leads the Clinical Nurse Specialists team.

Clare's career in healthcare began as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), followed by nursing training in Central and West London. Her clinical experience includes spinal cord injury, tissue viability, orthopaedics, and infection control. She has a diverse professional background, with experience in clinical, operational, and commercial roles across the UK and Europe.

Clare holds an MBA from the University of Hertfordshire, where she continues to contribute as a visiting lecturer. 

Clare has strong local ties to the hospital and east london, with her mother having grown up in Woodford Green and her family historically running bakeries in the area.
