Bringing Hospital to patients
ITV News Health Correspondent Rebecca Barry joined our Physician Response Unit, as they work to relieve strain on A&E waiting times by bringing the hospital service directly to patients.
Amid rises in Emergency Department waiting times this method is a way of relieving the strain and, most importantly, improving patient care.
The team consist of a consultant and an emergency medical technician and bring almost all A&E equipment with them in a rapid response car to treat patients across north east London.
