You never know what is coming through the door so it is different every day. That’s why I wanted to be an A&E nurse.

Working on the wards wasn’t really for me - I wanted something a bit more fast-paced and different every day. 

I love it because we are such a diverse group of people working in such a diverse community. 

I have been nursing for 22 years and now lead a team of nurses who I nurture and look after.

It’s intense, fast-paced, and comes with a lot of pressure. I love it.
