Helen Aaron was appointed as Director of People in June 2024.  Helen has worked in the NHS for 6 years, initially with Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust as Associate Director of Workforce and then Associate Director of Resourcing as part of the merger of three Trusts. 

Following her completion of the ASPIRE Deputy Director Talent Programme, Helen moved to Chelsea and Westminster NHS Hospital Trust as Deputy Chief People Officer where her portfolio included resourcing, temporary staffing and medical workforce.

Helen graduated with a BA (Hons) Business Studies and commenced her career in Human Resources on the Ford Motor Company HR Graduate Programme.  During her varied career in both private and public sector organisations, Helen was appointed to her first Director of HR role in the education sector and in 2021 was awarded Chartered Fellow membership with the HR professional body, CIPD
