Scientists from Barts Health NHS Trust and Queen Mary, University of London are trialling an investigational medication for high blood pressure (hypertension) in a clinical study which will give patients an injection of the medication every 6 months.

The volume of feedback we get from some inpatients has doubled recently and offering them the option of commenting on their patient experience in Bengali as well as English played an important part in making the feedback process more inclusive. 

We are celebrating 7 years of collaborative working with St Giles.

To mark Earth Day this Friday 22^nd April and Ramadan, colleagues from the Barts Dental Hospital headed up to the roof of East London Mosque in Whitechapel where they met Salma Attan, a local beekeeper who has created a buzz in this unexpected location.

We spoke to Salma about beekeeping, and why bees are so important for the environment and local community.
