Binky Felstead surprises families at Play Team Activity Day

Made In Chelsea star Binky Felstead surprised children and families at The Royal London Hospital’s activity day on Thursday 26 October.
Binky teamed up with charity Rays of Sunshine and children’s personalised gifting brand My 1st Years to spend quality time with patients. The day was hugely popular, with over 60 children in attendance.
Activities ranged from a Build-A-Bear workshop and balloon animals, to a manicure station and story time with Snow White.
Tara Shea, Clinical Lead of the play department at The Royal London Hospital said: “I’d like to thank Binky and Rays of Sunshine for truly making our children’s party special. Everyone was delighted to meet Binky who generously shared toys, helping to bring sunshine to the hospital during what can be a difficult time for our brave young patients and their families.
“We would like to thank Rays of Sunshine and My 1st Years for helping to make the day so memorable for the children and their families.”
Jane Sharpe, CEO Rays of Sunshine said: “We were so grateful to our partners My 1st Years and their wonderful ambassador Binky for popping along and making the party even more special. Rays of Sunshine brightens up the lives of seriously ill children across the UK by granting their wishes, granting hospital ward wishes, hosting large scale events and working closely with hospitals like The Royal London that care for them. We were delighted to be able to create some sunshine and smiles for so many children at The Royal London yesterday.”
