Two cardiology trainees from St Bartholomew’s Hospital have been recognised by the Royal Society of Medicine for their outstanding work in research.

For Pride Month, Barts Health is celebrating LGBTQ+ role models within the Trust who are helping to break down barriers for patients and staff, effecting change through personal example, leadership or day to day excellence.

Consultant clinical oncologist Dr Karen Tipples and consultant radiologist Muaaze Ahmad, have received a Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) excellence award for their work on the national radiotherapy trainee recruitment programme.
