Ms Jyotsna Pundir is a consultant gynaecologist, subspecialist in reproductive medicine, surgery and assisted conception at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine, St Bartholomew's Hospital, and honorary senior lecturer at Queen Mary University London.
She has more than 10 years of experience in subfertility and assisted conception, having been trained at UK’s prestigious tertiary fertility units including the Assisted Conception Unit, Guy's and St Thomas’ as clinical research fellow and the Centre for Reproductive Medicine, St Bartholomew’s Hospital as RCOG accredited sub-speciality fellow.
She manages all aspects of subfertility, including:
- assessment of ovarian reserve
- assessment of tubal patency with hysteron-contrast-sonography
- assisted conception cycles of ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, ICSI, and social egg freezing
- male factor infertility including surgical sperm retrieval.
She performs gynaecological and early pregnancy scans including 3D and aqua scans; and has a particular interest in minimal access surgery, both laparoscopic and hysteroscopic. Her other interests are polycystic ovary syndrome, menstrual disorders, and menopause.
Jyotsna is passionate about delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based care to patients. She is very keen to educate, empower and involve women and couples in decision making in every aspect of their care.
Outside of work she loves cooking and gardening and practices mindfulness.
