Dr Anup Kage completed his undergraduate studies in Bangalore, India nad moved to the UK to pursue postgraduation. He completed his initial paediatric training in east midlands and moved to London to complete neonatal grid training. He was a neonatal consultant at Imperial College for 2 years and moved to Royal London in 2018. During these years he has developed an interest in neonatal neurology and neurodevelopment. 

Outside of medicine, he is a keen sportsperson and plays cricket, table tennis and badminton. 

Research interests

Dr Anup Kage has previously contributed to research in gene expression profiles in babies with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy.
Currently he is involved in a research study in newborn seizures
