Introduction
We provide a full range of orthopaedic care
For patients from across London, Essex and further afield
Our teams are highly specialised in every aspect of orthopaedic health - from routine hip and knee replacements to more complex, delicate spinal surgery and traumatic injuries.
We have specialist expertise in upper limb surgery, complex shoulder surgery, hand surgery, hip replacement (conventional and resurfacing) and revision hip replacement.
We will provide you with personalised care, finding the most suitable and appropriate treatment based on sound medical techniques.
We’re passionate about making your better and giving you a better quality of life.
We use the latest technology
Providing you with the most advanced and successful treatments
Working closely with the Barts Health School of Medicine and Dentistry, we investigate new therapies and novel approaches for the diagnosis, classification and treatment of orthopaedic conditions.
We are internationally recognised for our research and in particular, our research into innovative implants used in orthopaedics.
We provide rehabilitation services
To enhance your quality of life
These services are provided by a range of professionals including specialist nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
The trauma and orthopaedic physiotherapy service treats patients with musculoskeletal injuries, such as broken bones and soft tissue injuries. The physio team works closely with consultants, nurses and other therapists to coordinate patient care.
Our team helps to promote as much independence as possible by improving movement in joints and restoring muscle strength using manual techniques, exercise and movement re-education. The aim is to help you become as agile as possible.
After an accident or surgery we help you work towards returning to life outside hospital. Together we agree on the goals you need to reach in order to achieve this. These goals can range from being able to walk short distances within the home to initiating the early rehabilitation to get patients back doing your favourite sports.
