Consultant at The Royal London HospitalI am a Consultant in Virology and Infection here at Barts Health. Through the pandemic I have mainly been working in Virology with an emphasis on testing and Infection Prevention and Control. I have been involved in creating guidelines, communications and providing education on various aspects of virology IPC (including patient pathways, staff testing, and early return to work for staff), as well as providing clinical advice for patients and staff, supporting trust IPC and EWS teams, and getting involved in local vaccination efforts for Covid-19. More recently I have been able to move across to work as a Consultant in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the Royal London Hospital alongside my Virology work.
